Am I able to create messages from the Versa 2 or only reply to messages received?

Hi. This is my first smartwatch.  I purposely bought it for my business office because of the instant messaging feature with talk to text to get in touch with my staff in another room.
So far I've been able to receive messages and reply, but am I able to send a message from the watch or only reply to them?  Also I don't see any messaging or texting apps available.  Seems very limited.  Any help would be much appreciated.  Thanks.  dramyt

You're very welcome @SunsetRunner.

Currently, there's no way to create your own messages to be sent from your Versa 2. As mentioned above, each app has a list of 5 default text quick replies that cannot be edited.

For anything else you would like to see implemented in the future, consider visiting our Feature Suggestions board. This is a space where Community users can post features, ideas, and suggestions that they'd like to see in future Fitbit products, accessories, and software and top-voted suggestions get relayed to our product team for review. You can learn more about how Fitbit decides what suggestions get released in our FAQs.

Hi there @SunsetRunner, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm glad to hear you just got the Versa 2. 😉

You can use quick replies to send customized responses to text messages and messages from certain apps with your Versa 2. This feature is currently available on devices paired to an Android phone. Devices paired to an iPhone or Windows 10 phone can only respond to Fitbit app notifications, such as messages, cheers, taunts, and friend requests. To find more information, see: How do I respond to messages with my Fitbit device?

Also, you can take a look at the article: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?

I hope this answers your inquiry, let me know if you have any questions present.

Thank you so much for your reply. I feel very lost with this thing. LOL.I forgot to note, but I do have my device paired with an Android phone. I do see and have practiced being able to reply to text messaging from my watch. My question is, can I create messages with my watch. I basically only bought it as  an intercom system through text messaging. If so, do you know what apps would allow me to do that? I haven't been able to locate any. I feel like I've watched every tutorial out there.Again thanks for any advice.dramytSent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone
