Amazon limiting negative reviews of Versa

I just spent some amount of timing writing an Amazon review on the Fitbit Versa (I do not write many reviews on Amazon, but all are honest).  It was a 3 star review with a lot of constructive information based on my experience and analysis.  When I submitted it, I got from Amazon "Sorry, we are unable to accept reviews for this product. This product has limitations on submitting reviews. There can be a number of reasons for this, including unusual reviewing activity."

Sad.

Hi @SunsetRunner,

I've hear of Amazon doing that before, but it's always been a temporary review ban.

If you check the product page for the Versa, they've gotten a number of reviews in the past few hours, so you may want to re-submit your review.

I got the same message , my fitbit versa died after 4 months and I feel people should know what they  could possibly be getting. Its interesting that the 5 star reviews are going through..... last review shows posted 56 mins ago.

My reviews was not allowed twice on the Versa on Amazon.

Best buy also would not allow my review.  Was at a Best Buy this weekend and they had zero Versa units in stock.  I asked the Geek what was going on and he said that FitBit was having problems and many had returned the VErsa.  Sounds like Amazon is trying to sell off their stock.

Fitbit has no control over third party reviews

No but Amazon and Best buy do and they are getting rid of stock and not restocking. I talked to Best buy about this

Post it to TrustPilot.  Amazon are under a lot scrutiny for false, misleading 'paid for by incentives free samples etc., & false reviews' and have been for some time now.  Google search to see articles.
