Android 7.0 syncing

My Ionic wouldnt SYNC - tried everything to fix it - support said I needed to just buy a new one and sent me 25% off.  I went ahead and bought a new device and now my wife's Versa is doing the same thing (wont sync).  She just got the versa 2 weeks ago.  It has something to do with the software and I really dont think there was anything wrong with my original ionic.  Wish I had known that before I just bought a new device ... 😞

I'll be glad to help you and your wife with the syncing situation. 

Please verify if the phone, that you are trying to sync with, appears on our list of compatible devices.

Make sure that the Fitbit app, is up to date, and that there are no other Bluetooth near or connected to the mobile device.

The fitbit app is up to date. The ionic and the versa lite both worked
before they were updated. We have a note 8 and a note 9 they are
compatible. We have shut off all other Bluetooth devices - it wont even
recognize the devices as available. We have uninstalled and reinstalled.
We have factory reset. We have talked to support and they have tried
everything. Apparently something went wrong in the last firmware update
and now our devices are dead. My wife's device is covered under
warranty...mine is not so I have to buy a new device because your firmware
broke it. I don't understand why I cant update the firmware via the PC
cable. The Bluetooth and WiFi do not work on my device anymore apparently
with the last firmware...
