Android / iPhone compatibility

Hi. I am in the process of upgrading to a new device. Currently running on a Huawei device and I have thus far experienced endless sync issues, failed updates, etc. Therefore, can anyone who has experienced either or both platforms recommend an iPhone over a Samsung (for example), with seamlessness to a Fitbit Versa - or otherwise?

Thanks.

If a phone is on the list at www.fitbit.com/devices then it should work ok. If it's not on that list then it may or may not work.

Welcome to the Community Forums @VParbhoo! As @SteveH mentioned, if your phone is included in the list of compatible devices with the Fitbit app, you should be able to sync with no issues. You can see the list at: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?

However, please keep in mind that when a device is not supported we cannot guarantee its functionality with the Fitbit app. It might work at a certain time and then it can stop working out of nowhere after an update. This is because the app is not optimized to that device and any change could impact the performance.

If you decide to sync with a compatible Android phone, make sure to take a look at: What should I know about using the Fitbit app on my Android phone?

Let us know if there's anything else we may do to assist you with.
