Is there an ankle strap for the versa? I am not allowed to wear anything on my wrists or hands at work (nursing) so rather than miss out on all the steps o do it would 've lovely to have perhaps an elasticated strap for my versa to wear on my ankle. I currently have the larger classic strap on at the moment but it irritates my legs.

Best AnswerI just got the B-Great ankle strap on Amazon. It is advertised as compatible with Versa. The “watch” fits snugly in a pocket with a Velcro closure. It is very adjustable with a 5-snap closure (I use 4 snaps). It is very comfortable. And it counts way more steps than wearing it on my wrist.
As regards heart rate accuracy when wearing Fitbit on your ankle, there is a e posterior tibial pulse on the inside of your ankle. I haven’t tested heart rate with the Versa with my ankle band yet, but hope it will work.
Best AnswerThe only way I could get it to register pulse was by cutting the mesh a little bit to expose the sensors directly to the skin. It worked well on the ankle with that "modification".
I got this a couple of months ago and I love it! Get pulse better than wrist and seems to count steps better!

Hello @Phyllis60 and a warm welcome. I read the item details and it says you remove the band.

Best AnswerHappy to see this because I just purchased it. All fitness watches give me a rash on my wrist because of the heart rate sensor, so I haven't worn mine in months. I finally decided to look for alternatives and found this ankle band on Amazon, so I'm looking forward to trying it. I probably won't be using the heart rate monitor since I don't want it in contact with my skin, but I'm happy to hear it's been useful for people for counting steps.
