For the past week I have been having several issues with my fitbit versa 2.
I have contacted customer support on several occasions.
First. My versa 2 failed to record my exercise....
Had to uninstall and reinstall several times before it started recording it. Than, as of this morning, my sleeping record are not posting. It only showed my oxygen.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app with no results
Please help.

Yes. Mine is acting up since the last update. I had to reboot watch too make it sync after I turned off Bluetooth. I finally downgraded to the previous version of Fitbit and all is working now

My Versa 2 quit working after the last update. It won't charge. It won't turn on. Nothing. I have tried everything that I have seen or could think of. This is my third Fitbit device over a period of several years. I gave been pretty happy with Fitbit. But an update that "bricks" my device. I may go to some other brand.

Hi @Jskv4 - the new V4 Fitbit App versions can be spotty and often lose connection which as @Gordgoldie says doesn't seem to be the case for the older V3 versions.
However it you toggle Bluetooth, restart the watch, logout of the Fitbit App and restart the phone, one or all of which often temporarily fixes the sinking issues.

Hi @neal1956 - an updated version of the Fitbit App doesn't generally cause a watch problem of the sort you are experiencing.
Try using a PC port to charge the watch for 2 hours. If it gets hot stop immediately.
Note: just in case, if you had an older Versa the charger for it isn't compatible with the Versa 2.
If the Versa 2 is actually damaged (possibly from water getting in) and under warranty it can be replaced.

I haven't gotten notifications on my wrist since Google took over. I have done everything under the sun. I give up!!!

@Jskv4 - different versions of the Fitbit App have different problems (others have reported sleep issues).
Sometimes if the app is syncing or failing to sync during the night it could confuse the watch but by breaking the connection the watch works in standalone mode.
If it is still a problem then it may be a watch problem or just a sleeping issue but syncing the watch and doing a factory reset should eliminate a watch problem.

Hi @maRy2007 - if you aren't getting notifications, check your watch Quick Settings to make sure Sleep and Do not disturb are off.
In the Fitbit App, device settings, check your Notifications and inside App notifications are set correctly.
Your phone has to be nearby and syncing. See Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Estoy igual que tú. Esta semana me desaparecieron las fotos, despues empezó a no registrar ni sueño ni entrenamiento. Intenté sincronizarlo y me apareció la opción de hacerlo con Google, dije que no y continúe con Fitbit. Lo volví a cargar y no me duró ni un día. Ahora solo aparece el logo de Fitbit en la pantalla y no carga . Alguien sabe que hacer???? Gracias

I just did a factory reset on the versa NOT my phone so I still have the app and all memory I just factory reset the watch and it works like magic again. Customer service chat was no help! This community forum is wonderful and thank you to who ever suggested this to me!

Mine has also been acting up.
last week I had to reset my watch, it was entire frozen, it also wouldn’t sync with the app.
And during my latest run, it totally failed on the gps.
