My fitbit app and watch are showing different steps (app is way less), so I'm not getting proper credit at work with our Wellness program.  What could be the issue?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @SharonAmandaK.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing your concern regarding the difference in number of steps you see on your watch and on the app. I understand that this affects your Wellness program and will be glad to investigate. I would like to confirm if you have another tracker or MobileTrack paired to your Fitbit account? You can remove them from your account if you're not using them.

I also recommend making sure your device is syncing. You can manually sync your device by following these steps: How do I manually sync my tracker or watch? If you experiencing any difficulties with syncing, please find the troubleshooting instructions here

I'll be around if you need further assistance.
