App message notification, no message present

I have a Versa running on my iPhone with the latest software. The Fitbit app, under Notifications/Mesaages has a red dot alerting me that I have a new message...there are no new messages! I have synced my watch, I have restarted the app, I have deleted the app and redown loaded the app. Nothing works to get rid of the red notification that there is a new message.

Hi, shut down the Fitbit app on your phone, disable BT and restart your phone. After that start your Fitbit app again and enable BT also. When this works this irritating message must have disappeared.

Tried this twice...didn’t work. Red dot for message notification is still there!

Using Android, sometimes that happens to me. Usually it's a cheer or a taunt, not a message, but it shows as a notification. Might that be your case?

There are no new messages. When I open the app there is a red dot on notifications. When I click on that tab it automatically goes to messages. There are no new messages! They’re all old. It’d probably help if we had the ability to delete messages and not have to wait 90 days and then sign out/in of the app. That’s something the community has been asking for for years!
