App not syncing my steps properly

I’m struggling in syncing my steps properly when I’m doing challenges. At the moment I’m doing 2 challenges and it’s showing 4000 steps less on both to what I have counted individually. 

I have removed the device from the app and disconnected from my Bluetooth but nothing has changed.

 

has anyone else had a similar problem?

Welcome to the forum. I'm sorry to hear you having a problem. Are you the owner/person who initiated the challenge? If you aren't, is the person who did start the challenge in the same time zone as you? If you are participating in a challenge started by someone in a different time zone, then the challenge will end aligning to their time zone and not yours. For example I participate in challenges that start and end on East coast time, which means the challenges ends for me at 9pm, instead of at midnight. Thus my daily step count does not match the challenge step count. I hope that makes sense.
