Why are there no name brand apps or more simple watch faces? I feel like most apps look like a random person made them. It feels kind of shady. When will more name brand apps be introduced?

That's because anyone is able to make an app or clock face then publish it to the community.

There at a few companies that make apps or faces but they are few.
