Auto recognize does not work on my Versa

Auto recognize is not picking up the exercise. The active minutes and heart rate is calculating and logging but it does not give you credit towards your exercise goals for the week. It use to work fine before the updates. The exercise settings has been checked, the device has been turned on and off and the online app has been checked. Please help.

I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Versa is not recognizing your exercises automatically. Thank you for the information provided and for trying to resolve the issue before contacting us.

 

In this case, try to set up your watch as a replacement device:

 

  1. Tap the Today tab, and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

 

Whether this doesn't help, you can turn off/on the auto recognize feature. For instructions, please visit this article and scroll down until you see "Can I change how my activities are tracked?".
