Auto track exetcisr

I bought a Versa 3 to replace the Ionic you withdrew. However I frequently find the tracker has autostarted an exercise, usually swim. I have turned off autostart for most exercises, particilarly swim but still it happens. And mosy annoyingly I cannot easily get out of the exercise mode. If I press the button to go back I get the message "do you want to restart this exercise - yes/no". Neither response gets me out of the exercise. Tried switch off/on the device & phone, also reinstall the app. Getting quite fristrated with this. Any help?

I'm not sure what you mean by turning off autostart for swim.

But what I think you want is to turn off auto-recognition for it.  On phone app, tap days of exercise tile, then gear icon near top right, auto-recognized swimming turn off.

So are you saying that you have auto-recognize turned off for Swimming, but you still get exercise logs labelled swimming that you did not start?

You say that you find it has auto-started a swim exercise session, but didn't mention if you then get a log labelled swimming.  I'm not sure how you know what type exercise it has started; the only type I get auto-recognized is walking, but I don't get any notification it is tracking that until after it is done and I see the log.

The device shows swim tracking has started at times and is difficult to stop, as I explained in my initial message. This is also logged onto yhe phone app. The Versa 3 shows which exercise is being tracked. Do you have a Versa 3? Do you have a solution?
