When I try to enable automatic location, it sets my location to the Netherlands and changes the language. This is an issue because I live in the United States

I've just purchased a Sense and have the same automatic location issue, but there might be a clue. My auto location comes up as Australia, but I am in Ireland. As has been mentioned in older posts relating to this issue, the location for the auto setting is determined from a smartphone related attribute (Android in my case). I have three Google payment profiles configured, with the currently activated one being Ireland, but the previous (and original) was Australia and this is the first that appears in the profiles list. This may be one possible issue (incorrect determination of active profile for location). Do you have a Netherlands payment profile? I also have my language choice set as Australia (for voice recognition of my accent) and in the Fitbit profile my food group selection set to Australia. Do you have any smartphone related settings (or Google related settings) set to Netherlands? Any VPN to the Netherlands? Without knowing any of the internal API functionality, these are the best thoughts I can offer at this stage, apologies if you have thought through all this already.
