BPM not working

have had several fitbits in past. changed from ionic. purchased versa. able to set up. bpm has not worked. disappointed. doesn't matter how i position watch the bpm does not work and watch is not capturing sleep. both are vital.

Have you tried a factory reset of your device?

I turned versa off, on. moved to other arm. did a complete factory reset. still no showing of bpm. never had this issue with the ionic

@1grove Have you gone onto your watch and clicked on settings and make sure the heart rate is on. image.jpg

i did. it is on. i talked with chat also. my versa does not show any lights on the backside like my ionic did so i do not think my sensor is working. i have also emailed fitbit to see how they can correct this issue.

Hardware problem. They can not fix. You will need to return it.

Had same issue.  Had to return for replacement.  The bpm is not working.  Sent back to fitbit on May 4th 2018.  Still waiting for the replacement.  Its May 24th.  Fitbit informed me there is a 2-3 week backorder.  Now fitbit has stopped communicating. Consider buying the Apple Watch.  Cost more but customer service is way better.

I had the same issue - somehow "heart rate" got turned to "off" in my settings and this stopped sleep tracking. My sync stopped working as well. Not sure if it's a glitch or what but seems to be working fine now. Check your settings before you go to the trouble of sending it back! Sounds like their customer service isn't great from other comments on the forum..
