Hello @Madunne

To answer your question…yes, I have earned badges I haven’t actually earned before. 🙄 Mine was weight loss badges. I’ve earned many of those I didn’t earn because my husband will step on my Aria Air Fitbit Scale and it thinks it me and syncs his weight to my Fitbit App. He, of course weighs more then I do. Then  later I get on the scale and weigh myself only to discover I’ve earned a badge for losing a great deal of weight. 🤣 It happens I suppose.

The floor count on the Fitbit can be tricky sometimes and misread a floor when you actually didn’t take one. It has happened to me as well. Floors are calculated by changes in the air pressure. That can include windy conditions and even strong incoming storms will effect the air pressure the Versa 2 is tracking. Floors are awarded when your Versa 2 detects your moving and the pressure changes enough to believe at least 10 feet has been climbed.

I sometimes receive an unexpected floor count when I do my treadmill HIIT for an hour. I incline between 5% (low intensity) to 15% (high intensity) Sometimes it doesn’t give me any floors but other times I might get as many as 10 floors. It could even being a fan blowing my direction hitting my Versa 2 just right enough to trick it to believe I climbed a flight of stairs.

if you want to remove the few unexpected floors you can do so by following the instructions here: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1306.htm Keep in mind that you can’t delete steps or floors; instead, log a non-step-based activity such as driving to override the steps or floors.

I don’t personally remove mine when I get a few unexpected floors but the choice is certainly yours.

If you want you can try restarting your Fitbit if you feel it might resolve the floor count issue. It won’t hurt to do so. Here’s how: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1186.htm

😃I hope this provided you with the best answer I could offer. Please let me know if this helps.
