Battery Issue

I have had the Fitbit Versa since December 2018 (received as a christmas gift). I updated it to Firmware 32.70.8 on Saturday night. During the update, left the Versa on the charger and allowed to charge to 100%. After the Versa was charged, put it back on. I wore it to sleep as usual, but when I woke up Sunday morning, it was not responding. While holding down the buttons to reset, it flashed a red 0% battery symbol on the screen followed by a blue triangle with a thermometer. I put it back on the charger, waited for it to charge. It appeared to be charged indicating 99% battery, but within 30-45 minutes, I noticed it shut down again and pressing and holding the back button would flash the same red 0% battery symbol and blue triangle with thermometer. I put it back on the charger, it indicated 99% battery. I put it back on and checked every few minutes, but the battery charge indicator would fluctuate wildly. From 99% down to 61% to 37% within a few minutes, and sometimes going back up from 37% back to 52% without being charged. However, it eventually shuts down again within 30 minutes to 1 hour of being removed from the charger; flashing the red 0% battery and blue triangle and thermometer.

I have never had any issues before the firmware update and I would usually go between 3-4 days between needing to charged the Versa.

Here are the things I have tried to fix the problem with the same results.
- Reset it several times in succession
- Wiped down and cleaned contacts on Versa and charger with alcohol wipes
- Turned on the Always Connected setting on Fitbit App
- Performed a Factory Reset
- Un-installed and Re-Installed Fitbit App on my phone.
- Used the default "Layers" Clock Face
- Kept it on the charger overnight, around 15 hours
- Performed a Factory Reset, again.
- Charged it on someone else's Versa charger for several hours

At this point I don't know what else to try.

Quite typical symptoms of the battery lost capacity. Yes, I know, on this forum everybody blames firmware update, but I'd start troubleshooting from battery condition/voltage checking.
