Did you mean:

Battery draining quickly and screen display faint.

I have had my versa since April 2018. I have really enjoyed using it until a week ago when my battery started draining in approx. 10 hours. This has continued, and also my display is now either very faint or flickering constantly while in use.

I have a standard Fitbit clock face and have also allowed the battery to get to 0% (not too difficult at the moment) before re-charging. Problems remain.

I would really like to continue using my versa as when it works as advertised it is great. What can you do to help?

Cheers,

David

Welcome to the Forums, @DavieT

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing the issues you're experiencing with your Versa's battery draining faster than expected and its screen not working properly. Thank you for your efforts to resolve these issues and providing the additional details. I totally understand how you are feeling as you would like to continue using your watch without any issues and take advantage of all its features. I recommend doing the following:

  1. Switch to another Fitbit clock face: How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?
  2. Restart your device by following the steps from this help article: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  3. Charge the watch to 100% and use it like normal.

For additional tips to prevent the battery drain, please see this help article: Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?

Let me know how it goes!

I’ve had similar issues with my Versa. I suggest you contact Fitbit support. If your device is still under warranty you might get a replacement sent.

All the best

Thanks T. I've had the device since April '18 so I think it's out of warranty now (I believe the cover is for 12 months)?

Hi Liliya,

I followed the instructions on your first post. Unfortunately they have made no difference, the battery continues to drain too quickly and the display is still faint with spasmodic flickering.

What now?
