In short, my question is this:
Is there a way to have have the screen be off (completely black) and then wake up when you turn your wrist? Or at the very least is there a way I can select a different "resting" black screen?
The long story if you need more information:
I switched from a Blaze 2 to a Versa 2 at Christmas. It's been 3 weeks and I'm already sick of charging it every 2 or 3 days! I had my Blaze for a few years and even towards the end of its life I could always go at about 4 days without charging it. I expected that a newer watch would have a better battery life. I think the main culprit is that the screen is always on even when it is in what I'm calling "resting" unless it is in sleep mode the screen is never off. On my blaze, it was possible for the screen to be off (completely black) but then it would wake up with the motion of me turning my wrist to look at it. I have not found a way to do this with the Versa so far the only way I have found to have the screen off (completely black) is to have it in sleep mode. I wouldn't mind that so much except the only way to turn the screen on when it is sleep mode is to press the button. I would like it if there was a way the motion of turn my wrist it would wake up from black to the watch face. The normal "resting" screen shows the battery level and date at the top, a very large clock in the middle and my steps and active minutes circles at the bottom, but sometimes Instead of this it is only a very small clock on the lower left-hand sign of the screen. If there was a way to make that my normal resting screen I could be okay with that since I think it probably would use less battery life the other screen which is still pretty bright.

Hi @MarissaO , go to the settings on your Versa and disable the display always on mode, also disable sleep mode right next under the dispaly always on setting. One item further down is the screen activation, press it and set it to automatic and also set the time-out of the screen to 10 secs and you're done. regards kuzibri
