I bought my Fitbit Versa just one year ago and loved it while it worked. I chose to overlook all the bad reviews and go with the Versa over the apple smartwatch. I have had syncing issues on and off over the year I have had it, but I just assumed it was normal. Just last night, my Versa stopped syncing and after all trouble shooting there is nothing I can do to get it to sync. I contacted customer support and was told since my warranty was up (by a month), I would have to buy a new one. I personally don’t feel a device that costs this much money should only last a year. I treated my Versa with care and never even got it wet. I am highly disappointed with Fitbit and the poor quality of this product. They have lost my loyalty. I will no longer speak highly of their products to others and I will be switching to the apple smartwatch.

Same thing happened to me yesterday. I noticed yesterday my time was off by about 30 minutes. Thought it just needed to sync. Opened the app and had seen it had synced about 2 hours ago. I thought it was strange that the time was off with it just syncing a couple of hours prior. Tried to sync the watch and nothing. Rebooted both my phone and versa about 12 different times with no luck. Tried on my tablet and PC with no luck. Shut the versa down over night and tried today...still nothing. Factory reset the versa and deleted from the app to try to set it back up and the versa flashes the screen that tells you to download the fitbit app in different languages and the app just sits there searching for the versa until it times out telling you to try again.
I bought the fitbit 14 months ago so the warranty is out. I'm completely disgusted that I spent that much money on a device only to have it fail just outside the one year warranty. Sorry, even the 25% discount customer service offers isn't enough for these devices to last that short of time.

So clearly this is a software issue that Fitbit refuses to take responsibility for. Very poor customer service. So sorry this is happening to you too. I used to rave about my Fitbit to others, but now I will be warning people to not waste their money.
