My family has three Fitbits using with three different cell phones two iPhones one Samsung all three seem to be losing the Bluetooth throughout the day you would connected and then about an hour or two later it’s off again this has been happening for quite some time now did Fitbit do some type of an update that turns off Bluetooth if it doesn’t find the phone?

On all three Fitbits and all three phones we are losing notifications of all times on the watched, we do not get text messages, we do not get incoming phone calls, we do not get app notifications like the ring doorbell sent to our watches, when we notice this we usually will look at Bluetooth on the phones and Bluetooth will be turned off only for versa 3, we turn it back on again and then it seems to be working fine or sometimes we have to either reboot the phone or the watch not sure why communication stops at times. I just find it strange that it’s happening on three different watches and three different phones.

@Joe_mcm- Thanks for the precision, can you say how or post a photo of how Bluetooth shows off for a Versa 3, and how do you turn it on?
Also check battery saving is not enabled by default which is shutting down Bluetooth or the Fitbit App or Location.
It is most likely a phone setting replicated across phones, unless you swiped the watch face right to get to Quick Settings and enabled Sleep or Do not disturb, but that would be odd on 3 watches.

This is what happens several times a day if my phone is not near the watch.
No other options are on

@Joe_mcm - thsnks for the photos, that is probably normal.
If the phone and watch get separated by a significant distance the Bluetooth can't connect to the watch anymore.
Once they come close together they should reconnect. Does that happen? To check,
Install the SimpleCheckUp app. Run this when the watch gets separated, it will tell you the watch is disconnected.
Close it and bring the watch next to the phone, after a few minutes run it again and it should say the watch is now connected.

I have had same issue.. started a few months ago. It is annoying as can be since I got this watch specifically so I could get texts/ notifications without needing my phone while I am on shift. Several times I have had to unpair and re-pair with my phone just to get it to reconnect to the bluetooth!
