I got a Fitbit versa over Christmas. Sync after a coycou of days when I got it, for 3 days. Now won't sync at all. Can't connect via bluBluetoevent though versa is listed as a connected app on my phone. This is very frustrating and taking a lot of the fun from the device. I've tried shutting down the app, turning on and off blue tooth. Powering down phone and watch. Made sure all permissions grated on app and phone, but no joy. I am using androiA version 8.1. any advice greatly appreciated.
Ohh and happy new year everyone 😊

The trick here is to not pair in phone Bluetooth settings but rather let the Fitbit mobile app do that.
Additional tips if sync issues persist: If you have Wifi set up, go to Fitbit mobile app and remove it, then sync your Versa. I noticed that it causes issues for me. If you have other Bluetooth devices paired with your phone, forget them. One of them might be causing issues. Also, make sure Always Connected and All day sync are enabled.

Hi mate.
I did what you asked and it's working great now 😊
I think turning off Bluetooth selected devices which I had set up manually separate on my phone through settings was key.
Thanks very much again mate, really appreciate your help.
