Brightnes level Versa 2

Hi please help just bought the Versa 2 thought it was a screen  upgrade to the versa 1but it is so dim even on full brightness please help

I have a Versa 2 and have also had a Versa. I saw no change in the screen brightness so I suspect you may have a faulty unit. Are you able to return it for a replacement?

Not just me seeing the difference I suspect Fitbit changed things round as Versa original had dim medium bright and auto Versa 2 doesn't

I agree with @SteveH. My Versa 2's display is great, even outside in direct sunlight. Have you tried the basics like restarting it (here)? Is it only the clock face screen that is dim, or is it the same for all screens?

The main issue for me is not outside as it will get brighter in strong light it's when it's not so bright the brightest level is way down compared to original on max setting button Versa 2 even brightest setting is dull unless you shine a light to it . I'm sending both back it's not a fault with one as I bought two one each for us .
