New Versa 2 owner here. So far, so good. Except one thing right now. I turned on my watch, and the display is dim. I tried, multiple times to adjust it, but nothing happens - it's still dim. I tried a troubleshooting tip from the manual, to turn the watch off for 10 seconds, and restart. Didn't help - still dim. Can someone please help, and give detailed instructions on how to fix this? Thanks!

@DeelSeeker It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community!
Let me help you with your Versa 2 brightness level and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Which brightness setting are you using now? Instead of turning it off try restarting your Versa 2 by following these instructions. After this go to settings on your device and change the brightness setting there.
Let me know how it goes.

Thank you for reaching out. When I could not figure out how to change the brightness setting from Dim, I went to the Fitbit community, hoping to find some answers. After I couldn't find the right answer, I posted the help request. But as I waited for a response, it continued to bother me. I would periodically try again, and again, without success. Then, by accident really, I hit on the right combination of taps/movements that allowed me to change the brightness level. FYI, I choose Max brightness, as these aging eyes don't see as well in the dark as they used to.
So, then I received your email, with the link to the instructions. Even though I managed to somehow change the brightness setting by then, I wanted to look at the link anyway, to see what I could learn. I was able to read that section, once I realized to tap the watch series as "Versa Series," rather than looking specifically for Versa 2.
Thank you again for the response, and also sending me to the link.

I just posted a similar question. Compared to my original Versa, this display sucks. It doesn’t come close to the brightness of my original Versa and the display quality even is worse. Here is the av 2 on the left, original on the right. Both are at 100% charge and both set to MAX brightness.

I have 3 features not working on my versa. Sleep brightness and do not disturb. I have tried turning off several times. It’s very hard to see my screen

My versa was set to bright but suddenly, today, it magically set itself to dim. When I go to settings, I am unable to change the following settings: brightness, do not disturb and screen wake. They are greyed out and do not respond to tapping. For the other settings, I can tap to change them with no problem. I tried turning my watch off as per the instructions attached to this point (holding down the two buttons until the watch resets). Unfortunately, that did not fix the problem.

I just had the same problem. It was on sleep mode. If you hold the left hand button down until quick settings comes up, you should be able to adjust from there. Couldn’t find anything online, just worked it out playing around. Good luck!

I’ve tried EVERYTHING and yet, another Fitbit bites the dust...
If any consolation, it’s just very suddenly happening to me and your post is about a year and a few months old. I’ve now had three Fitbits and I’m wondering why each one fails me at nearly a year or year and a half after I’ve bought it. Maybe I’ll make an art project using the original Fitbit bought, the “free” replacement when they fail, and a story. My husband, who’s a doctor says “it’s all cr*p”...He walks about 7-10 miles on weekends and during the summer and uses a small pedometer that costs pennies on my Fitbit collection.
If I can’t fix this, I think I won’t bother buying another. Sad, my whole family are my Fitbit friends” but they’re family soo know where to find them 😂.

If you try turning off your “sleep mode” it will be all good after that. Hope that helped👍
