Fitbit version 2.78 was supposed to fix Android 9 (Pie) issue with 'unknown caller' on Versa call notifications.

 

New permission for call logs is allowed

 

However, now not getting any call notifications and also 'Send a Test Call Notification' doesn't work (previously working before ver. 2.78)

 

I have tried all troubleshooting steps including;

reset tracker

re-enabled notifications

reset bluetooth

removed and reinstated Versa as new device in the app

factory reset of Versa

This is in relation to 'resolved' issue - RESOLVED: "Unknown caller" calls with Android 9.0
