Calorie counting too high!

I have recently paid for my fitbit versa, and im quite dissapointed.

The fitbit puts up a lot of ghost steps for example 80 steps in my sleep? Or when im lying down or driving.

The calories burnt must be off, it says i burnt over 8090 calories in 1 day! Am i doing something wrong cause all the information i have input has been put in correctly? There is not a possible way i could burn 8090 calories in one day

@MatthewC_91 A warm welcome to our Community! Sorry to hear that your Versa is showing a high amount of calories. Have you logged any manual activity? How many steps were recorded for that day? Also check your personal information is correct (age, weight, height, etc.). Could you share a screenshot of said day's numbers?

I look forward to your reply!

- I logged manual activity of 819 calories for 43 minute work out

- 11195 steps were logged that day and all personal information is correct such as my age, height and weight

See the screen shots below, Thanks

Your "heart rate" "seems" wrongly too high and you are on fat burning zone for 8+hrs 😄 so the trackers thinks you are burning more calories 😄
