Calorie tracking in pocket

So I am currently on a calorie deficit and my fibit helps me manage that. I've previously been on a calorie deficit with fitbit and I lost a good amount of weight. But now with restarting that process, I'm working a lot now and I can't wear a watch. I put my fitbit in my pocket but I'm curious on if it could be accurate or if I've burned more or less. Does anyone have advice?

You won't get a heart rate with it in your pocket.  There is a setting on Versa 2 to turn heart rate detection off.  I would expect the most accurate would be wearing it as a watch; but absent that, better to turn off heart rate detection in Settings, I would think.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
