I'm hoping it's not because I missed something obvious, but this morning I put in 730 calories of food. This evening I added another 820. The app is saying I only had 730 Calories in regardless of that 820 being spammed in there....
The 730 calories WERE items already in the fitbit database but the 820 was a quick add... if that matters
Thanks in advance.

Hello @AnimaComedenti
There is currently a know issue as your describing that is known at this time and the Fitbit Team is currently working on a solution. You can follow the conversation here: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Android-App/Fitbit-app-not-tracking-food-and-calories-intake/td-p/51.... As well as here: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/iOS-App/iOS-Fitbit-app-not-tracking-food-and-calories-intake/td-p/51.... It appears to affect both the Android and iOS users. I would participate in those thread and keep an eye on them. If a solution or update is forthcoming it would definitely be announced there.
😃 I hope this provided clarity on what your experiencing and gives you an answer to your question while pointing you in the right direction
