Calories burned accuracy

Not sure what's up with my fitbit, it's been acting weird ever since the last update. Last night it showed that I burned 2,000 calories, which is about normal, but I don't think it ever reset at midnight, because this morning at 8am it said I burned 4,300 calories.

Is there any way to manually change the number of calories burned?

Hello @RickyBobby0205, welcome to the Community Forums! It's a pleasure to assist you today.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and the details that were shared in your post. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know how many times you experienced this inconvenience? If you haven't already done so, I suggest you to check our help article: How does my Fitbit device calculate calories burned? for more information about how calories are estimated.

To edit information from your account, you can check: How do I add, edit, or delete Fitbit data and activities?, however, it's not possible to only delete calories as itself but you can delete an activity in which you burned some calories to compensate the total amount.

Looking forward to your reply, let me know if you have any additional questions.
