Hello everybody!

The recent discussions about the issues with the 70.7.14 update really scares me...

The thing is that I ordered Santa a Fitbit Versa 2 for Christmas... But I guess that the updates are obligatory during the first setup, right? Then, was if this update fails? What if there's no previous firmware to go back to?

Can anyone explain to me how this works?

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I understand how concerning the firmware update difficulties can be for you. Keep in mind that here in the Community Forums users usually post the difficulties they're experiencing rather than positive feedback because they're seeking assistance or helpful information. That said, if Santa gives you a Versa 2 and you experience difficulties with it, please do not hesitate to contact me back and I'll be glad to help you out.
