I noticed this morning that the tracker showed I have burned 799 calories so far today but here is the issue---> I wasn't wearing the tracker, it was sitting in it's charge holder overnight.
I cant understand how Fitbit can truly call themselves a fitness tracker when it seems that they are just arbitrarily coming up with numbers?
How can anyone really trust anything that these trackers put out?
Is there a way to edit this count?

@CallMeMrBill Those are you BMR (basal metabolic rate) calories that you burned while your Versa was in the charger. Fitbit estimates you total calorie burn by combing your BMR calories with your activity calories.
No need to edit. Actually, you will mess up your total calorie burn for the day if you do.
