At one point today I was at over 1700 calories burned. That was after 2 hours in the pool. I used the swimming exercise tracker. When I got to my phone again and it synced, it said 600 calories burned for that day. What the what? Has this happened to anyone else?

@Cammie88 Versa registers raw data that is later on synced via fitbit app to fitbit servers where all the calculations happen (in the cloud). The calculated data is then synced back to Fitbit app and then to your Versa what you can see as Stats. Usually, you need to sync several times but the exercise might get adjusted especially with swimming. Calorie estimation is based on heart rate tracking. Unfortunately under water is pretty much no go, very inaccurate. So, it is only to be expected that after calculations there might be correction. 1700 calories is way too much. Just in case, you can reboot your tracker by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo appears (for Versa Lite - press the back button for 10 seconds), but I do not think there's any issue.

@Cammie88 what's the number you can see on your dashboard on Fitbit.com? What's the calorie number you see in the app? And what's the number on your Versa (swipe up to open Today app)?

@Cammie88 No you do not add the calories. Fitbit.com represents the state of your data on the Fitbit servers - if it's lower than on your Versa and/or in your app that means the data hasn't fully synced yet. In your particular case Versa synced the data to Fitbit app but the app hasn't uploaded the full data to the servers for calculations yet. That would explain the lower than expected calorie value. I would keep an eye on the next workouts.
