Not Tracking Sleep

I am so disappointed in Fitbit, I have always had one and was always happy with what it tracked. In March I purchased a fitbit Versa for my partner. It worked well for the first 2 months, and then it stopped tracking his sleep. I called customer support and they had him disconnect the device from his Samsung phone, and reconnect it. They said to give it 24 - 48 hours and to call back if this did not rectify the problem. We called them back when this did not work, and they suggested we do a complete reboot, wiping all information and starting again. When this did not work, I called back assuming that they (fitbit) since there is a year long Warranty would give me a new Versa.  Their  policy states: "Fitbit warrants to the original purchaser that your Fitbit-branded device and Fitbit-branded device accessories (collectively, the "Product") shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase, except that if you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA) and you purchased your Fitbit product in the EEA, the warranty period is two (2) years from the date of purchase (the "Warranty Period")". Customer service told me that he should log his sleep manually, this to me is a defect in the product, and they should either give him a new product, or give me a refund. I hope writing this will encourage Fitbit to do right by their policy, and their customer.

Ditto. I havent tried some of the fixes that were offered but I did do a soft reset of the watch

The watch seems to track steps but wont sync to my phone.

I hope you're able to find a resolution or get a new device. I'll be calling ad complaining if I cant get mine to work, too. It's about 2 months old, go figur .

Just wanted to follow up, the soft reset finally worked when I went back into my app (I was about to disconnect and reconnect it). My bf googled it, it was 2 buttons, similar to resetting a cell phone. Hope this works for u! Good luck!

Yeah,
I am really not happy with fitbit at the moment. It is not my fault the
device is not working properly.
