Went for a huge ride today, excerise tab shows this. Everything was fine before and after ride however regerstering over 3800, this afternoon the calories randomly reset back down to 2000 or so. It should be well over this.
Huge shame when you push it really hard, further than before and it resets 😞

Hi I have figured out what the issue is here.
It's the Strava integration, I had both running and so the was a conflict, deleting the Fitbit entry to leave the Strava activity fixed it all.
Guess I won't have the Fitbit running next time and just allow the Strava integration to handle the track?
Cheers
Terry

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Terrytaplin. I am sorry for the delayed response.
I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing what happened with your calories burnt after you went for a huge ride. I totally understand how you are feeling as you would like to see the results of your efforts. In order to investigate the issue, please let me know if you manually logged your activity? Manually logged activities override your device's data. Sometimes you can see a decrease in your stats after logging an activity, which can occur if what your watch recorded was more intense than what you logged.
Looking forward to your response!

Hi thanks for your response.
I just set the bike activity before riding, finished the ride (Midway through meeting my calories for the day), finish up the ride and then int he afternoon it reset by itself and basically discounted the bike as an activity.
Have literally had the same issue today, watch displays over 3500, open up the app it's all synced correctly. Just looked at the watch now and it's at 2500. Open up the app, the app displays 3500 on boot up then changes back to 2500. It appears like it disregards the ride after a certain period of time? The ride was roughly just over 1000 burnt.
After this issue last week I spent forever trying to simply add an activity that represented the calories burnt. If for example id add a manual activity for say 500 cals, it would randomly add say 300 instead of the correct amount.
It seems to be in the home summary section as the activity log is there and I can see all the stats etc.
Seems strange that this has happened twice now and extremely frustrating. I'm about to attempt to manually add the correct calories, but last week it took over an hour to get the correct numbers, which is absolutely ridiculous!!!
Thanks
Terry

Hi @Terrytaplin, thank you for your reply. I am sorry for the delayed response.
Thank you for providing the additional details and sharing your solution. I really appreciate your efforts and your time. Activities from Strava are synced over to Fitbit as manually logged activities and due to that could affect your data including calories. Thank you for letting me know that you will allow the Strava integration to handle the track. I hope you continue enjoying your Fitbit Versa without any issues.
I'll be around if you need further assistance.
