HI
Is the a way to stop my fit registering calories burned while i am sleeping? It is quite impossible to burn 450 calories every night.
Thanks

The calories we burn just keeping our body alive are known as our BMR calories. These are based on our profile settings for age, height, weight etc - but not heart rate - so we needn't be wearing the fitbit for them to be calculated.
For most people the BMR calories add up to over half of our total calories.
Calories we burn through activity are, as you say, based partly on heart rate but these are in addition to our BMR calories.

Actually you burn calories 24 hours a day, just less while you are sleeping, your heart is still pumping and your lungs are still breathing your body is a machine that runs 24/7, hope that helps

Thank you but this is also happening when i dont wear the watch, so surely it shouldn't do that because is based on my heart rate.
