I have just purchased a Versa and have plugged the USB charger into my computer. Every time I do , it comes back saying the USB device is Not recognised. The watch is sitting correctly in the charger, I have tried all the USB ports and even on a different computer, I am running Windows 10, so don't know why it is not working. Have I missed a basic step or something?? Help please!!

You are doing fine, ignore the computer alert. The purpose of the port is not to connect your tracker, it is to charge your tracker.
After an hour or two for full charge, navigate to www.fitbit.com/setup to get the proper App for your device and follow the install dialog for a new device. This will establish the bluetooth connection between your tracker and device and get you on the road.
Congrats on the new Versa @MckWalker ! Welcome to the fitbit family.
