Can't connect Google Assistant - Versa 3.

Hello,

 

I had a Huawei P20 Pro, but couldn't fix Google Assistant for Fitbit. Since 5 days I have an S23, but still can't connect the Google Assistant to my Fitbit Versa 3.

 

Why? I open the app on my phone, go to the device and click on Google Assistant -> Activate... But no connection is made...Screenshot_20230213_145914_Google.jpg

Hi @Kr4nKz1n - here is a list of countries/languages where Google Assistant is supported. This could be an issue.

 

If not it could be a syncing issue seeing as you have 2 phones.

It should work with an S23 but there are possibly problems due to it being new.

The Netherlands is on that list and its syncing pretty well.

 

Online google assistant is making issues.

 

If I reset my Fitbit, and install it again, will it go further with the stats in my Fitbit account? Or is it a new device with a new start?

@Kr4nKz1n- check the firmware version on the watch first, the original firmware didn't support Google Assistant, the latest version is here What's changed in the latest Fitbit device update? 

 

In watch Settings, About Versa 3, System info.

 

Don't factory reset the watch without knowing what it will do, because if it works you have to go through the whole lengthy setup process all over again and it can create other issues if not done properly.

 

If you sync first all the data is uploaded to Fitbit servers so no data will be lost.
