Can't get Versa to work

I've had it since Christmas and have spent numerous hours trying to get it working. Have deleted account & app, reinstall app & setup account and it still seem to get stuck on updating . Have used different internet connections but nothing helps.I know it works to some degree due to the fact that it has uploaded activity to the dashboard. Can't get a clock face to show ----- ali I get on the face is that stupid a$$ logo. Ready to  put it down garbage disposal but my sister spent too much money for it.   Any suggestions how to proceed?

Thanks for responding. I have a Samsung-SM-G900V. In my attempt to set up
Versa last nite at some point a yellow vertical bar appeared on left side
of the screen don't know what that's about. Both phone & Versa were plugged
in & charging.

Hi, I seacrhed on different sites, but did not find your Samsung as a by Fitbit supported device (yet). The yellow bar which you see on the left side is normally the bar that shows the progression of the setup of your Versa ti your phone, but this should be normally blue instead of yellow. This see article about  setting up your Versa, press the link and after that "Trackers and Watches". Pay special attention to the part, directly underneath the first video, that's called Fitbit Connection.

It's a Samsung Galaxy S5. I thought when I searched compatibility it was on
the acceptable list.

It was updating for over 3+ hours last nite when I went to sleep & this
morning the connection had shut down. The progress bar on phone had moved
some but not very much when I went to bed.
Will try again this evening when I get home.
