Hi there,
I've been wanting to install spotify in my fitbit versa, but it always says "make sure your fitbit app and fitbit device has the latest update". I've updated everything but fitbit still doesn't allow me to install it. Any ideas how to do a firmware update when I haven't receive any further updates? Thanks!

Hi there @Pixiesized, welcome to the Community Forums. Thank you for the details provided in your post and for taking the time to verify that you have no pending updates to install. I'll be glad to help you to download Spotify on your Versa.
Note that in order to install Spotify app, your watch must be updated to the latest Fitbit OS 4.1.3 (32.70.8.0) and the Fitbit app on your phone to 3.23. If your new Versa still has an old version, this is the reason why you cannot download Spotify yet. May I know what is the version currently installed on your watch? You can find it either by going in the , tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image (the firmware version number appears under your device's name) or on your Versa, in the Settings app > About or Device Info.
That said, leave on all-day sync and let the Fitbit app run in the background on your phone, which allows a small portion of the firmware update to download to your Fitbit device each time you sync. To check that all-day sync is turned on: In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image > confirm All-Day Sync is on. Once you have updated your Versa you will be able to download the Spotify app, check this article to know how it works.
Also, I wondered if the mobile device you're syncing with is included in our list of supported devices? You can see the list at: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?
Fitbit products are compatible with most devices that have the following operating systems: Apple iOS 12.2 and higher, Android OS 7.0 and higher.
Please keep in mind that when a device is not supported and does not meet the require OS we cannot guarantee its functionality with the Fitbit app. It might work at a certain time and then it can stop working out of nowhere after an update. This is because the app is not optimized to that device and any change could impact the performance.
