Receive text notifications but when trying to open them it opens on phone and not on versa 2.
App says "Notification service not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications on your tracker."
Have restarted phone several times with the same results. Phone is galaxy s8+.
Help!

@Dw1960, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 doesn't show your text notifications. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.
I would like you to try one more workaround that has been helpful for this type of issues. Please try a factory reset. To do so on your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data. Sync your watch before this in order to avoid losing current data.
Finally, monitor your Versa 2 and see if it shows the text notifications properly.

Tnanks for your reply.
After asking for help I tried several different things on both my phone and the versa.
Had it working at one point and than it went back to the same issue. I decided to disconnect my phone from the versa and than reconnect as if it were a new devise.(May be the same as a rest). It seems to be working at this time. If it happens again I will try your recommendation.
