I just got my versa 3 and I cannot set up on-wrist calling because my phone is not detecting the versa 3 controls device. I have followed the manual instructions but there just is no versa 3 controls device.

See Page 37 to learn more about making calls. I've asked a Moderator to stop by to assist you with this.

Thanks very much for your help. The notifications seem to all be set up properly.
The on-wrist callingninstructions say to tap the versa 3 controls device from the bluetooth section of my phone settings but it's not listed as a device. When I tap Versa 3 as the device, it says I need an app to use this device.

@Mindhealer did you set up your Versa 3 with the Fitbit app?

Yes and I was already a fitbit user. I'm also not able to get weather data. I haven't checked other pre-installed apps yet.

Hi @Mindhealer and @Stefaflynn. Welcome on board. @Odyssey13 Thanks for the heads up, as well as your help.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention and your efforts while working on this matter. While it's odd the Versa 3 controls won't appear in the Bluetooth settings, may I know if you make sure to turn off other Bluetooth connections nearby? I'm asking this as if your phone is connected to a different device such as headphones or speakers, it may have difficulties to find and connect to your watch.
That being said, let me recommend reconnecting your watch to the Fitbit app:
@Mindhealer About your other question, double check if the permissions are enabled for the Weather app Take in mind that the Fitbit app needs to run in the background so your watch can stay synced and updated. For more instructions, I'd recommend this help article.
Hope this helps.
