Cannot edit settings on Versa 3

When I touch the settings icon, it flashes but does not open.  But when I shower, the warm water drops change the screen and settings, and I just have to live with whatever happens. The Fitbit is still syncing ok with the app.

Hi @Telemo - firstly don't shower with the watch, it is not recommended as it can break the seals and water can get in.

If watch settings is not working go to the Fitbit App and run "Set up a device" and replace and then sync and try again.

Also try swiping the watch face to the right to get to Quick Settings and turn off the icons you don't need, like sleep etc.

If this does not work you may need to factory reset it.

Thank you for the suggestions. I will try them. But as for showering, the
watch is supposed to be safe up to 50 feet under water, so it seems a
shower would be nothing to worry about.

Good morning I'm having the same issue and I've tried several things nothing's worked how do I factory reset if I can't access the settings button

I have not tried it yet, but I’m pretty sure the factory reset is done from
the app.

@Telemo - factory reset can also be done using the button and Fitbit don't recommend showering with the watch as it can break the seals (from detergents or hot water)

You can always chat via the Fitbit App, Help & support section, Contact Customer support for the factory reset.

I have tried factory resets, uninstalling app, etc.. and nothing works.  When I clock settings for apps or clocks, I get a blank screen.

Hi @Goldaj - it's one of the faults in the new V4 Fitbit App where you get a blank screen when trying to change settings in the Gallery tile.

You can see more in posts in "The redesigned Fitbit app is rolling out!" topic in the appropriate iOS or Android app forums along with the other unhappy users.

Unfortunately Fitbit don't officially allow going back to the stable V3 version.

As of my knowledge showering with fitbit versa 3 is not really good idea, because both soap, shampoo and alternatives damage its waterproof ability.
