Today I bought Versa Special and when I tried to register the Versa app it said that my email address was already registered. How could that be so as I have never bought a Fitbit device or tried to register before?
The device arrives with me on Wednesday but it looks that I will not be able to use the app. I have used fitbit online reporting of the problem. Does anyone know how this could have happened.

Best Answer@Beemer2 it's because it's the same profile - forum and Fitbit account. So, please download the Fitbit mobile app and log In with credentials you use to log in to this forum.
I have now received two Versa Special Editions. Setting up my own and updating the firmware took one hour with the update twice sitting apparently stationary at 42% then 97% for a large part of the hour.
My wife's Versa has partially updated and the screen has refreshed but ongoing.
I have tested the sync to my Huewei Honor 10 phone and receiving text messages works.
So far very impressive!

@Beemer2 I'm so glad! Yes, firmware update can be sloooow. Make sure all devices involved have access to strong wifi - which means put the devices near the router. eheh. Enjoy your Versa! 😊 Oh, and check out the community! There's lots of fun stuff here.
