I got my versa yesterday evening. I tried immediately to setup. I deleted my AltaHR, restarted the app and followed the instructions. The versa IS sinking to my phone, but it will not get passed 1/3 of the screen while updating the firmware... I have tried on wi-fi and bluetooth. I have even deleted the app. I called fitbit this morning. They didn't have me do anything I hadn't tried. She said I could return it to where I bought it. DUH! I want my versa to work!!! Should I go get another one???

This didn't work for me...ugh... Husband and I wondering if possibly (hopefully because watch is one day old) that there may be bugs with the newest firmware update and I give it a few days or a week to see if it gets resolved by Fitbit?

I am having the same problem. I have tried every troubleshooting tip I have read. I am lost without my Versa.

I got my Versa yesterday and I an having the same problems. I have carried out everything and spent at least 3 hours of my saturday getting this sorted. My father has also tried on Sunday for over 3 hours. Literally what we've found is that the components are not geared to sustain connection. So for example it will connect to by bluetooth and be 'connected' and then during the update it will change to 'paired' thereby dropping the connection.
This is SOOOO FRUSTRATING. I do believe that Fitbit parts are not fit for purpose. I am sure there are many many more lost hours and if you think of the total time lost then this is a complete selfish act on the part of Fitbit as they have not called a recall. I lost time spending with my family and friends because of this and I am sure others have. Fitbit have not considered this and I am not impressed.
I will be returning this ill thought out and ill conceived item and buy a Samsung Gear instead who know what they are doing.
NOT IMPRESSED.
