Caught in a loop -- cannot restart, reset, or turn off

Help -- my Versa has been working beautifully until the past few days. It would lose power quickly, and not recharge. Today, I tried doing a hard power off, with no success. It would come back to life briefly, but then go back to a fitbit icon. Then, I tried a factory reset, with the same result, other than now it sometimes comes to life in the charger (which shows I have a full battery), but when I remove it from the charger, I just get the fitbit icon and no other functionality.

 

Help!!!
