What do. I do when it says reset failed 
the screen was not responding to anything it was stuck on the face clock so I reset my Fitbit

Try a Factory Reset by swiping left to Settings, then About, and then Factory Reset.  I'm assuming the reset you referred to is a Restart.

ive reset it a few times now All it says: Reset failed your data was not cleared. Please try again
