Does anyone know why my steps will not show up on challanges

How are your steps being recorded @whandmh only steps recorded will get transferred to the Challange. Also only the steps that occur during the challengers time will count.

Of a friend in Ireland joins a challenge I created, there steps will not start until 11am their time.
