Challenges not updating

My Fitbit is syncing and my steps are showing up in the app but they will not sync to my challenges. Have already done the following:

- reboot phone and watch

- put comments in chat (as thats on online suggestion I read)

- left and rejoined challenges in same day

- left and rejoined challenges after they were over and restarted.
- disconnected FitBit and re-paired 

- uninstalled/re-installed app

 

 I am lost as to what to do
