Hi,
I recently received a charge 3 for christmas, much to my excitement as I have been wanting one for months!
Much to my disappointment, and it seems to many others on this forum, the steps counter has been wildly inaccurate: sometimes waking up with over 100 steps, and when in a car (not driving myself) and i watch the steps go up by the thousands. After trying the many tips from the website, I have decided to give up and return my charge 3, as it seems its a problem not just with mine but with maybe them all.
As I am wanting a waterproof band for swimming, I am turning to the versa. From what I can see there doesn't seem to many complaints regarding steps accuracy since it first came out. Before purchasing another fitbit I want to make sure I am not disappointed and told that the band will pick up every slight movement as a step...

Hi, as far as I'm concerned the step counting from the Versa is rather accurate (you will never get 100% cerrtainty). When I bought the Versa and owned the Ionic, so I was able to make a comparison and they were much alike. All in all, I love my Versa!
