My Versa is currently dead and won’t charge or respond to any buttons or app. What do I need to do to correct this problem?

I am having the same issue too. I tried to get in contact with Fitbit Chat support but was unable to be connected with a representative. I then was able to get a response from Fitbit Support Twitter. I was then emailed by Fitbit support and turns out I am three months out of warranty so all they can offer is 25% discount and 40% of versa lite models of a certain color as I had exhausted all troubleshooting methods. $160 for just over a year of function is not a great value. I would not recommend anyone buy the Versa Lite range. I am hesitant to make another purchase of a fitbit item in fear of accumulating a disappointing graveyard of defective fitbit products.
One of the methods that hopefully will work for you is cleaning the charging ports on both watch and charger (unplugged!) with rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab.
