Hi fitbit fam,
We are getting problems lately when I try to install watch faces. It takes a lot to install the clock face, sometimes one day after and wen I try to install other one using the mobile app, for whatever reason it looks like is still installing and I can´t continue the installation...
These weird issues have happened also to my friends, the devices were, iPhone 7, iPhone 11, Pixel 2XL and with the Fitbit Versa and Versa 2.
I was looking around and didn´t find anyone with these issues. Is there currently an issue with the installation of the faces? Or mabe these only happen to me...

While reading your post I was wondering if you're trying to install a clock face developed by a third-party or by Fitbit? Have you tried installing a clock face officially made by Fitbit to see if you face with the same issue?
I'd recommend taking a look at the help article: How do I set up and troubleshoot apps on my Fitbit device?
For future references, with third party apps, note that Fitbit doesn't own or maintain third party integrations. So, in this case is recommendable to contact the third party developer to learn more about future implementations.
To contact the developer please open their app on the Fitbit App Gallery, scroll/swipe down and under "App Details" you will find the information.

the clock face I am trying to install is a fitbit clock & was on my versa before I did a factory reset to clear other problems, the watch just sits there with the fitbit logo on it & does nothing
